Dwon Clifton is a former student athlete who received a full scholarship to play basketball collegiately at Clemson University. Clifton would eventually graduate from UNC Greensboro with a degree in Business Management & Marketing in 2005.
Immediately following his college career, Clifton played basketball professionally, before moving on to his professional business career.
In 2008 Clifton would accept a position as Director of Player Development and Basketball Operations for Baylor University. He would go on to help coach, manage, develop, and nurture the careers of college basketball players for the University for 2 years.
Clifton would later move on to a career in Sports Management in 2010, where he would manage the business affairs of mainly NBA athletes, as well as other professional athletes for one of the top agencies in the industry. He quickly gained invaluable experience by helping the company secure player/endorsement contracts in excess of $50 million dollars.
Building on his rapid success, Clifton would start his own agency and proceeded to found Envision Sports Agency in 2011. As President of the company, he managed to sign a number of high profile athletes, comprised of everything from NBA to Australian Football League players.
Clifton would eventually go on to sell the company to investors, and shift his focus to managing clients financially. He would ultimately become a fully licensed financial advisor for Merrill Lynch, where he served as a member of their Advisory team for 2 years. Clifton has gained valuable experience in asset management since 2017, and owns a wide range of knowledge and business experience. Clifton possesses a strong passion for helping and serving others.
